is hard to find the words to describe the maginificent costumes of the
finalists for the King & Queen of Carnival. The pictures can only
give a partial impression - the scale of the costumes has to be seen to
be believed! Some of them were huge - up to 20 feet tall, 20 feet long
and 16 feet wide! The inventiveness, ingenuity and creativity displayed
in the designs and their implementation was staggering. Such beautiful
materials and craftsmanship went into the execution. To see them moving,
pulsating to the rhythym of the soca music and swirling around the stage
to show the equally impressive view from all sides was quite awe-inspiring.
