The Spinners and Weavers of South West France is a group which meets once a month, at various locations in our region.

If you are interested in any textile craft, such as spinning, weaving, dyeing, knitting, tapestry weaving, embroidery or felt-making, then do join us.

Why Not Join Us?

We are keen to attract new members to our group, and you can be sure of a warm welcome to our meetings.

It is surprising, the number of people who come to us and say "I have always wanted to spin and weave, but never had the opportunity."

Well, the opportunity is here and now because we are very happy to teach. As a group we are also lucky because our secretary is the representative in Southern France for Ashford, the famous Spinning-Wheel and Loom Maker, and so it is very easy to get any equipment needed for our Craft.

We are pleased to have visitors to our monthly meetings whether they can already spin and weave or if they would like to learn.
